Originally constructed in 1895, this historic home was fully renovated down to the original framing which included structural repairs, new windows, doors, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. This house was built in partnership with students enrolled in the Kirkwood Carpentry Diploma program. The home has all new interior and exterior finishes

Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity (CVHFH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to building and rehabilitating simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with families in need in Linn and Benton counties. CVHFH is a proven homebuilder with a strong local track record. The organization has built, rehabilitated, or repaired homes since 1988, serving more than 290 families. CVHFH is proud to have taken an active role as a local leader in affordable new home construction and neighborhood revitalization. CVHFH has a strong volunteer core who work side-by-side with partner families, providing much of the labor necessary for building the home.
